You are the director of a child care facility for children ages 3 to 5. As part of staff development night, you are going to create a PowerPoint presentation to educate your staff on three common disabilities among young children with special needs. You will also discuss the importance of family involvement in children with special needs and how your staff members can partner with parents to facilitate family involvement in your center. In your presentation, you will want to use multiple examples to illustrate knowledge of the culture and characteristics of the families and children with special needs.
